Who is Ayurooms?
Ayurooms Holistic Wellness Escapes was formally incorporated as Ayurooms and Wellness Private Limited on August 26th, 2016. It is registered in Mumbai, under the laws of India. Ayurooms was founded by Alykhan Alidina and Anusha Sachdeva out of a shared love for India and a passion for Ayurveda, which helped them to overcome back pain and transform their approach to well-being.

Alykhan Alidina was born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. He holds an Honours Bachelor’s degree from the Ivey Business School in Canada and a MBA from the Vlerick Business School in Belgium. He has over 12 years of experience in international development and running voluntary service organizations, having worked for various international institutions, headed by His Highness The Aga Khan. He subsequently worked in real estate (redevelopment, strategic rezoning and commercial real estate) for two years, prior to moving to India in 2016.
Anusha Sachdeva was born and raised in Mumbai. She holds a Bachelors of Arts in Business and Marketing from De Montfort University, UK and an Event Management Diploma from the EDMI Institute, Mumbai. She formerly worked for Zumba Fitness as its Community Representative for South Asia, covering five countries. Thereafter, she co-founded Epicurus Entertainment, an event management company, and The Hive, a co-workspace in Mumbai. As a freelance wellness consultant, she worked for brands such as Colgate Palmolive, Cadbury, Morgan Stanley, Accenture, Disney, Network 18 and Courtyard Marriott (Pune).
Vinamra 'Vin' Agrawal
Vinamra 'Vin' Agrawal, founder of Brandhero is a result-driven storyteller and a growth specialist helping businesses acquire more customers faster to accelerate growth via successful digital marketing strategies and disruptive & compelling design. He is a design consultant skilled in building breakthrough solutions for businesses with proven track record of growing them multifold with time, both in terms of revenue and user base.
Ashwin Naik believes that “wellbeing is a fundamental human right” and works across non-profit and for-profit organizations to make this possible. In the for-profit arena, he cofounded Vaatsalya (Bringing affordable healthcare services to small town India), Seraniti (Bringing high quality mental health services in India) and We Scale Impact (Helping healthcare entrepreneurs across the world scale their impact).
In the non-profit sector, he has served on boards or held leadership positions at Wadhwani Institute for Sustainable Health, Ashoka Innovators for the Public, Action for India and Nourishing Schools Foundation.
He is an angel investor and advisor to healthcare startups like Ayurooms (enabling access to Ayurveda), Biddano (accelerating access to medicines for all), Neurosynaptic (enabling access to care via technology) via disrupthealth.in and samvida.in.
He has a medical degree from India and a Masters degree from the United States. He started his career working on the decoding of the human genome project at Celera Genomics.
He has authored two books: The Healthcare Gamechangers and #ChangeStartsYoung
Kush Kumar is the Founder and CEO of ThinkTree Hub, an international professional association for therapists, individual service providers and practitioners in the domains of wellness, complimentary and alternative medicine, and other forms of healthcare and well-being. In addition, ThinkTree Hub both provides and facilitates formal Continuing Professional Development (CPD) and other self-development opportunities for its members.
Mr. Kumar is based in the United Kingdom, where he is widely recognized as an expert on holistic health, alternative therapies, education, training, accreditation and other fields of specialized knowledge.
Mr. Kumar advises Ayurooms on establishing international best practice and standards for the provision of massage therapy and other treatments at Ayurvedic resorts in India. In addition, he advises Ayurooms on structures and processes through which wellness resorts in India can gain UK recognition and expand the reach of its services in the UK and beyond.
