Nagath Ayurveda provides an alternative to the large commercialized health spas. It is a “homestay”, where guests are treated like family members. It is run by a husband-and-wife team of Ayurvedic doctors who founded Nagath Ayurveda after 10 years of clinical practice at a commercial Ayurveda group of resorts. If you are looking for “authentic” Ayurveda close to its historical form, Nagath is for you. There are only four rooms at the centre, implying a maximum capacity of eight guests. It is thus a peaceful and intimate environment, ideal for cleansing and mental quietude. Each guest receives two treatments a day, lasting around 90 minutes in total. There is a morning walk everyday at 6:00 am. One of the most pleasurable aspects of staying at Nagath is the food – fresh, delicious, and tantalizing – often cooked and served by the doctors themselves!
