Nagath Ayurveda

Reasons to go here:

✓  Guests are treated like family
✓  Home-cooked vegetarian meals
✓  Beautiful morning walks everyday
✓  Traditional Ayurvedic treatment
✓  Budget-friendly and high value for money

✓  Very caring and experienced doctors
Nagath Ayurveda provides a compelling alternative to the large and often touristic Ayurvedic resorts. Nagath is technically an “Ayurveda homestay”, where guests are treated like family members. It is run by a husband-and-wife team of Ayurvedic doctors who founded Nagath Ayurveda after 10 years of clinical practice at one of the top Ayurveda resorts in Kerala. If you are looking for “authentic” Ayurveda close to its historical form, Nagath is for you. There are only six rooms at the centre, implying a maximum capacity of twelve in-house guests. It is thus a peaceful and intimate environment, ideal for cleansing and mental quietude.

Each guest receives two treatments a day, usually one in the morning and one in the afternoon or early evening. In line with one of the foremost health prescriptions in Ayurveda, Nagath offers a sunrise morning walk everyday at 6:00 am. The walk is escorted by the head doctor, Dr. Rajesh. The walk provides not only for gentle exercise, but also, the opportunity to explore nature and the village in which Nagath is situated.

One of the most pleasurable aspects of staying at Nagath is the food – fresh, delicious, and tantalizing – often cooked and served by the doctors themselves!

Getting to Nagath

The fastest and easiest to get to Nagath Ayurveda is to fly into Kochi, i.e. Cochin International Airport (COK). From there, the drive is about one hour. At COK airport, you can hire an Uber, Ola or private taxi. However, if you book Nagath through Ayurooms, you will benefit in three ways: (1) we will get you the best deal, (2) we will include your pickup and drop-off at no extra charge, and (3) you will receive the best service from us and the resort.
