Our Pricing Policy is to never charge more than the published rates of the resorts, if you approached them directly. In fact, we always charge you less and we include more in our packages. For example, when you book with Ayurooms, your package include one or more special complimentary services, such as:

Best Price Guarantee

Ayurooms offers a Best Price Guarantee. This means that if you make a booking on the Ayurooms website and subsequently discover a lower price for the exact same package (i.e. same resort, same dates, same inclusions) on another website, we will beat the price by at least 5%. This policy is for your peace of mind, so that you don't have to worry about overpaying when you book with Ayurooms. However, in order to avail the Best Price Guarantee, it is necessary to make a booking on the Ayurooms website before you contact the resort directly or make a booking on another website. 

All-Inclusive Packages

All the packages listed on the Ayurooms website are "all inclusive". This means that the pricing shown on our website is inclusive:

1. Accommodations
2. All meals for duration of stay
3. Detailed health consultation with qualified doctor
4. Body treatments (daily)
5. Group yoga (daily)
6. Energy healing (at least one session)
7. Airport transfers
8. Wifi
9. All applicable taxes

The above is the "minimum" set of inclusions that you can expect when you book with Ayurooms. The exact inclusions vary package to package, resort to resort. If anything is not included in your package and likely to be charged by the resort separately, we will mention this on our website and in the Booking Confirmation that we send you,

What can go wrong

Without access to the right support and expertise on the ground in India, there is a whole range of things that can go unexpectedly wrong if you book a health resort without the help and support of experts, like Ayurooms. Here are some potential problems:

1. No one is at the airport to pick you up.
2. The food is horrible or minimal. You are always hungry. 
3. You are charged extra for things that you thought were included.
4. Your room has no air conditioning or it doesn’t work.

1. Why are the advantages of booking with Ayurooms?

There are four main advantages to booking with Ayurooms:

1. Best Price Guarantee: When you book a package through the Ayurooms website, you can rest assured that you have secured the best price for your chosen package and resort. However, just in case you find the exact same package as ours on another website for a lower rate, we will beat the price by 5% or more, provided that the competing offer is for the same travel dates, same resort, same room category, same number of travellers, and same package inclusions. 

2. No Hidden Charges: Ayurooms is completely transparent about what is included in your package and what is not included. We will even call you to explain the inclusions and exclusions, and offer you some tips on how you can avoid unnecessary expenditures when you are at the resort. Often times, when you book a health resort through another website, they may not know or tell you about the hidden costs. There can be hidden service charges, extra transport costs, highway tolls, certain treatments not included, medicine charges, and other unexpected surprises. At Ayurooms, we inform you in advance of the "extras" and "exclusions", so that you are informed before you arrive at the resort. 

3. Extra Inclusions: Our packages are unique and curated. They are not available on any other website, including the resort's own website because we include additional services not offered by the resort or other booking platforms. Our complimentary special services may include: Ayurveda-based nutritional counselling, energy healing, private yoga class,, cooking class, pranayama class, backwater trip, shopping trip, and visa assistance. The exact number of special inclusions depend on the package you select on the Ayurooms website.

We guide you through the visa application process and we will even help you to fill-out the visa application if you need assistance. And we intervene on your behalf should anything go wrong at the resort. In short, we work tirelessly to ensure that you have an amazing experience and receive the best treatment and hospitality. ​

2. Will I get a better price if I book with the resort directly?

No, you will not get a better price by booking with the resort directly, unless you are willing to accept a lower room category, a lesser package with fewer inclusions, and other such compromises. If you are willing to accept a lesser package in order to avail a lower price, contact Ayurooms and we will prepare a custom package to meet your budget.

If a resort offers you a better deal for the same package that you booked on the Ayurooms website, please share the offer with Ayurooms via email and we will endeavour to beat it. However, in order for us to do this, please make a tentative booking on the Ayurooms website before contacting the resort directly. 

Finally, please remember that the packages that appear on the Ayurooms website are unique and curated by our in-house Ayurveda experts. This means that we include various complimentary services and features in every package that we offer. For example, we include free Ayurveda-based nutritional counselling and/or energy healing sessions when you book with Ayurooms. Often times, we include a free private yoga session or multiple sessions. These extra services are only available through Ayurooms and not offered when you book with the resort directly or through another travel agent or website.

3. What are my payment options at Ayurooms? 

Ayurooms accepts payment by credit card, debit card, bank transfer, RazorPay, Instamojo, and Wise (formerly TransferWise).

​Each payment option has its own limitation and may involve transaction costs. However, when you book with Ayurooms, we can fix the amount payable in the currency of your choice and ensure that your transaction costs are absolutely minimized. 

4. ​Is a deposit required?

Most health resorts and yoga retreats in India require full payment in advance to confirm your booking.  Some resorts will accept a deposit and the balance to be paid on arrival.  The policy varies from resort to resort, season to season, and even package to package. 

During the “super peak” season in December and January, 100% payment upfront is generally required by all resorts. In exceptional situations, the resort may allow a deposit of 50% and the balance to be paid on arrival. 

During the “low season”, which runs from May to September, some properties will accept a 25% deposit.  

Should you prefer to pay a deposit to Ayurooms and the balance upon arrival at the resort, please mention this under "Special Requests" when making your booking or contact Ayurooms to negotiate the best arrangement for you.

5. ​Can I pay on arrival?

It depends on the resort, the time of year, and the package that you have selected. Each resort sets its own policy regarding payment and cancellation terms. However, Ayurooms can negotiate with the resort on your behalf, if you are unable or hesitant to pay in advance.  

In general, full payment is required at the time of booking, particularly during the peak season in India (October to March). However, during the low season (April to September) or in other exceptional situations, the resort may accept a deposit with the balance to be paid on arrival. The exact policy varies from resort to resort. 

Should you prefer to pay a deposit to Ayurooms and the balance on arrival at the resort, please mention this under "Special Requests" when making your booking or contact Ayurooms to negotiate the best arrangement for you.

6. Can I cancel or change my booking?

Refundable: The exact refund policy varies from resort to resort, season to season, package to package. In general, if you cancel your booking more than one month (30+ days) before your original check-in date, a full refund should be possible. Be sure to read the Cancellation and Refund Policy associated with the specific package that you select.

​Non-refundable: Typically, bookings are 100% non-refundable and non-cancellable within 30 days of your original check-in date.  If you have already paid for your booking and your original check-in date is more than one month away, then there is a good chance that the resort will allow date changes at no extra charge.

Whatever your needs or circumstances, Ayurooms will work hard on your behalf to negotiate the best arrangement with the resort, should you need to cancel or change a booking.

7. Can I pay by credit card, debit card or online wallet?

​Yes.  You can pay for any package on the Ayurooms website by credit card. After you receive a Booking Confirmation from Ayurooms, you will receive instructions relating to payment. 

You can pay Ayurooms directly or you can pay the resort directly, as you wish.  Some resorts may charge a fee for payment by credit card. Keep in mind that if you are using a credit card from outside India, the resort may charge your card in Euros, USD or Indian rupees, in which case you will need to pay the foreign exchange rate applied by your credit card issuer.
 
For the fastest and cheapest foreign currency transactions, we strongly recommend the use of Wise (formerly TransferWise).. Wise enables you to pay any bank account in India with your debit card or through direct debit via online banking. The service is totally safe and a service that Ayurooms uses to receive payments from outside India.

For payment through online wallets, Ayurooms can create a payment link through RazorPay, which would then allow you to pay via most major online wallets in India.
